The parts did not pass our very strict quality control and therefore we sell them in a powder coated version. The parts are from the first batches of April 2021.

However, the parts function without restrictions and have only optical defects!

THE ORIGINAL - The first milled V4 Oil Pan Protector we know of. It not only effectively prevents it from being hit by Stones, but also integrates the Oil Pan much better into the Vehicle Design. Compared to the "alternatives" that have come onto the market in the meantime, the Desmoworld Sump Guard reduces ground clearance almost not at all. Another point to bet on the original.

Due to the lack of fairing, the oil pan on the Streetfighter V4 is completely open and unprotected. Stones and dirt picked up by the tire are therefore very easily thrown at the oil pan. This looks, as can be seen in the pictures, very stressed after a very short time. In the worst case, a large stone may even punch a hole in the oil pan. This poses a very great risk to the driver and other road users. We have therefore developed a visually appealing guard that effectively protects the oil pan from such rockfall!

Alternatively, you can of course bend a sheet yourself - but we strongly recommend to mount a protector, no matter in what form.
